Due to limited space, strollers are not permitted inside DisneyQuest®.
We visited Disneyquest on a recent trip to DisneyWorld. Since we had Park Hopper passes, we didn't have to pay admission. I was glad, because many of the activities were too difficult for our daughter to enjoy. My husband, on the other hand, had a blast playing all the games! This is much more appropriate for older kids and teens!
So, if you have a video game addicted pre-teen- teenager, this is a really cool place....if you have a small fry, stay home! This place is super crowded, noisy, and dark. Lots of flashing lights and loud music. If you have an ADHD kid, stay home too-over stimulation at its finest....The two best "rides" (virtual reality) by far is the Pirates of the Carribean and the Jungle Cruise. On Pirates five people go into a room that looks like the hull of a ship. The captain steers the boat while the others are gunmen. All around you the room transforms into a giant video screen and you fight other pirates and ships.
The Jungle Cruise is also a virtual reality experience where you climb into a raft equipped with paddles. The screen in front of you turns into a white water expedition as you paddle your way through the amazon.
Also check out the Buzz Lightyear bumper cars and the Halo-like shooter up space alien game. This is a half day event, after 5 hours you are on sensory overload and ready to escape the insanity of Disney crammed into a smaller scaled building.
Disneyquest is great for a rainy day but don't be surprised if everyone else has the same idea! Located in Downtown Disney West side it is a huge multi-leveled Game filled building! I would suggest the best age for this is between 6-13 Lots of video games, interactive games. We love the ball blaster(i think that is what it is called) They also have a food court with decent prices!
This Disney adventure is targeted more along the lines of children 5+, but there are also things there for younger kids to do. We stayed there for a few hours, and we were fully entertained the entire time we were there. It gives you the interactive simulation experience in a good assortment of rides. We also have small children.
DisneyQuest is the ultimate game room with 5-floors of fun! Kids of all ages can spend hours in DisneyQuest. We have taken pre-schoolers to teens to DisneyQuest and it is always rave reviews.
This attraction is located at Downtown Disney West Side and is fully enclosed, so it is the perfect spot for the rainy days in Orlando.
You can save money on your tickets, by adding the Water Parks, Fun and More Option to your tickets. This extra option is just $54 per person plus tax and includes extra visits to the Disney Water Parks and other attractions including DisneyQuest. Just this option is about the same price as a 1-Day Pass to DisneyQuest. Good value for your Disney World vacation!
I stumbled upon DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park basically by mistake, and I must say that this was one of the greatest mistakes I've ever made! :) We planned to have a whole day of shopping at Downtown Disney but then the storm of the century came so we decided to try here! It was completely thrilling and my kids were occupied for the entire day. I couldn't imagine younger kids having a blast here, so I'd only recommend this to parents with older children.
So, my husband + the 3 boys went here at night while the baby and I slept! I heard nothing but good things from them! They were jiving about it the whole next day! Since they are video game geeks, they were in heaven at DisneyQuest. They thoroughly enjoyed virtually designing a rollercoaster for Dad to "ride". He wasn't as amused.. it made him sick! ha! A Great idea for those who have boys ages 7-adulthood!!
Our mistake when visiting Disneyquest Indoor Interactive Theme Park was visting on a rainy day because apparently everyone else thought it would be a great idea too! The games were really fun but the large crowds kind of sucked the fun out of our visit. I would love to come back but next time we will visit on a bright sunny day while everyone else is at the waterparks!
There is something for people of every age at this location. There are great shops to buy anything you can think of and wonderful places to eat. You can get food from every ethnic background. Everything my family tried was excellent. A must go to on your disney vacation.
I was there for about 3-4 hours and I was done with that place. I think this is geared for older children and teens. Not so much for the little ones as it is loud and often crowded, and there probably isn't as much for them to do. It could use some updating ! There were many games from my "generation", Pacman, Mrs.Pacman, asteroids, galaga, donkey kong, so that was fun
Our 6 year old son was in heaven here. You can play all day and eat here as well. Since it is downtown Disney you can have a little break from there and go shopping or boating or whatever you feel like. There is so many games here that kids are freaking out. Not just video but learning, drawing and singing activities aswell. Would bring him bac forsure.
Five stories of indoor interactive entertainment challenge visitors of all ages. The latest additions include a 3-D experience titled Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Bucaneer Gold and SongMaker, where up to four people can cut their own musical CD by mixing singers, lyrics, and a variety of musical styles. Kids will love taking home their personalized and self-designed CD in jewel case.
This is 5 storys of over the top video games and virtual reality. Kids along the ages of 8-12 will want to spend all day here, and the next day, etc. One of the best things in here is the make your own roller coaster virtual reality ride. You make your own roller coaster(including loops and flips and..well you get the picture) and then you go to room which has what look like giant red balls, you get inside of the "big red ball" and you literally ride your roller coaster. Remember those loops you added? you are going to go upside down. whatever you added, that's what you do. (if you get motion sickness easily STAY AWAY). everything (except food) is included in the price of your ticket. so that means endless video games and virtual reality. There are some really great virtual reality rides in here so prepare to stay for a long time. Hope this helps. Have fun!
