Formerly Playhouse Disney, this new show features many Disney Junior characters in a stage show aimed at toddlers and preschoolers.
Beginning March 22, 2013 the Disney California Adventure preschool live action show will add the characters from “Sofia the First” and “Doc McStuffins” to their lineup of puppetry fun.
My 4 year old son LOVES the Disney Junior Show. We have seen it so many times. It is a great show for kids 5 and under who love watching Disney Junior. The seating is on the floor and there are a few benches along the back. One tip is not to sit in the very front if possible. The stage is quite high and the kids have a hard time seeing way in the front. I have found that seats in the middle section about half way back have the best view. The characters are like puppets and they sing and dance. The stories are cute and the songs are from the cartoons, so the kids all sing along. It is an audience participation type of show and the Cast Members encourage the kids to yell things out and get up and dance. It is a great break from the heat or the crowds and the kids have a great time. I was very happy to hear they were changing the show some because we have seen the same show over and over. We were fortunate to be there for the opening of the addition of Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins and they are great. I do miss the Little Einsteins, but am glad they added new characters. My son really loved when it snowed during Sofia the First. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone with small kids.
a theatrical show with puppets and actors, all familar faces from disney junior channel. lots of songs, feels good to sit on the comfy carpet after walking alot. Just be sure not to comp[letely let your kids run free, they are very strict about them not going over the borders/lines in the carpet so the actors don't trip on them during the show.
If your toddler-early school child is a Disney Jr fan you can't miss this! Many of the current shows are featured and my youngest loved that his "best morning friends" were right in front of him! The show is constantly changing to keep up with the current shows (Although this mommy misses many of the older Disney Jr shows!) Check out the current shows being featured before you go so your child is not disappointed if the shows that you remember being there last are not there anymore!
My kids love this show! It is currently being redone to include Doc McStuffins and Sophie the First. We cannot wait to see it. It should be open March 22nd. It is a show with Disney character puppets and one person. There are usually bubbles falling from the ceiling and confetti too. Do not miss this show especially if your kids watch Disney Jr. every morning!
We have two toddler boys who LOVE Disney Junior. They ask to see this show multiple times when we go to California Adventure. The show features a stage with puppets and is based on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. In the show the characters use mouse-ka-tools from other Disney Junior shows to solve problems. It is a interactive show with singing and dancing. They also distribute props into the audience including bubbles and paper gold doubloons (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates). This is one of our family's favorite attractions at the park!
This show is a lot of fun, especially if your kids watch the Disney Junior channel. We saw it last year before knowing about the channel, and although it was fun, it was even more enjoyable this year after becoming familiar with the shows. The room is big and everyone sits down on the carpeted floor, so there's lots of room to move and get a good spot. The show consists of skits from the shows Mickey Mouse Club, Handy Mandy, Little Einsteins and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. There's one live "girl" and all the characters from the shows are puppets. The kids get to sing and dance along and shout out answers. There's bubbles and gold dubloon confetti that the kids love.
The show plays several times a day and is a great way to get out of the sun and into a nice air conditioned room. Great for the little ones!
My two year old loves this! They have bubbles and drop confetti on every show! All of their favorite Disney junior characters come out to make for one great show. They keep the show going at a great pace and there is never a dull moment, Don't miss this one!
My kids love Disney Junior and this show is tailored just for them. It is interactive, silly, fun and goes along with each of the shows perfectly. The weaving of puppets and real life characters is really cute, and there isn't really a bad seat in the house.
