"DB has a lot to offer!"

We love this little railroad park, which is tucked away in a neighborhood in chandler.  it's got a lot to offer - lake with great picnic areas along the water (you can even fish and feed the ducks), covered play ground, splash pad with lots of shade, lovely walking paths, railroad, carousel (open on the weekends) and snack bar.

"Great park, poor communication"

I found this park online and headed out to give my little ones the opportunity to ride on a train and a carousel while killing some time in Chandler, Arizona.
I was dissappointed by the websites non-communication about the hours of the train/carousel and as it turns out they are only open on the weekends and not at all during the summer.
The rest of the park is pretty amazing.  There is a large play structure with options for both older and younger kids, there is a water play area where many a child was running about with their swimsuits on getting relief from the spring heat,  swing sets, a beautiful lake in the background and mature trees and shrubs throughout the park to keep you cool.

I would definitely recommend visiting this park again on the weekend (although our time constraints did not allow us to do this) so that you can take advantage of the trains and carousel.
