"A "Hot" Place to Visit :)"

We attended a special Father's Day event at the Denver Firefighters Museum and it was well worth the trip!  The museum has lots to offer with lots of interactive exhibits such as fire truck cab to climb in, a pole to slide down, firefighter clothing to dress up in, a 911 learning station, fire safety information, and more!  For the history buffs in the group, there's lots of detail on the history of firefighting in the Denver metro area.  As part of the Father's Day event, we even got to take a ride on an antique fire truck through the streets of downtown Denver -- certainly the highlight of our day!

"Fun and Educational"

The best part of the Denver Firefighters Museum is dressing up like a firefighter and climbing aboard a fire truck. However, there is also lots of historical fire fighting equipment and hands-on displays about fire safety. A great place to take kids.

"Fascinating history here"

I like this museum because it's got some really interesting exhibits and information about the history of firefighting in Denver (I'm a history buff). Of course, when I took my then-preschooler son, all he wanted to do was touch all the gear. I think he'd get more out of the museum now (at age 7, learning about fire prevention) than he did as a 3-year-old, even though his fascination with fire trucks is long over.
