Deer Valley offers private lessons to children of all ages, taught by ski instructors specifically trained in techniques for teaching children. Group lessons are offered for kids 3 to 18. The Deer Valley Children's Center is a state-licensed facility providing supervision and activities for non-skiing children ages 2 months to 12 years. Activities include story telling, art projects, imagination activities, singing and a lot of play time and toys, along with quiet time. The Center also offers built-in reading nooks for entertainment purposes and performances, an indoor playground and additional space for the children's ski programs.
Winter guided activities include snow shoeing, dog sledding, sleigh rides, cross country skiing, hot air ballooning and more. Summer activities include rafting and kayaking, fly fishing, trap shooting, ATV tours, plus many other fun activities. In the summer, Deer Valley is a mountain biking haven.

"Classy"
Deer Valley Ski Resort is a must go to for the entire family! They have everything you need there and it's so beautiful, well run and classy. The dining is five star along with everyting else! Perfect place to spend a weekend! Park City is a great town and full of fun things to see and do! They have many options for kids that are very fun too, workshops, ski lessons, etc.

"Beautiful Ski Resort"
If you are looking for a family friendly high end ski resort this place is for you. No snowboarders allowed!! This means safer for skiing without worrying about being taken out by boarders. (sorry if I offend) Their runs are beautifully groomed, their staff is friendly and helpful, it isn't super crowded and the carrot cake in the lodge is TO DIE FOR. Sometimes I just want to go skiing just for the carrot cake. It is quite pricey but totally worth it!

"Skiing in Deer Valley"
Deer Valley is the most beautiful place we have ever skiied! There are mountain ski runs for all levels of skiiers. The ski rental shop has great equipment, and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. The restaurants are excellent. This is a great place for families. We stayed at The Lodges at Deer Valley.
