My kids are young but still enjoy going to Dave and Busters, a place I originally thought was geared towards an older audience. There are games in the back corner that are easy for kids to play and earn lots of tickets.
We try always try and make an evening of our trip and have dinner at the restaurant first, odering from the section of the menu that gives you a game card with your meal. It really helps save money.
We used this place as a reward for our kids, for doing well last school year. It is not a place we will go on a regular basis, because our meal alone was almost $100 - the game cards cost us more than that, almost $150 - but it is a nice treat for when the kids do something exceptionally well. There are a wide variety of games from which to choose, something for everyone. The restaurant has a good selection of food, and the waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food was served hot and appeared fresh. There is an indoor bowling alley; we did not play but it looked like a lot of fun as well - it will be on our short list of things to do the next time we go!
