We did this while on a family vacation to Michigan and were pleasantly surprised by all the things to do with our 4 and 2 year old. We road around the park in a real steam locomotive and then strolled through the cute old town and watched the jugglers and street vendors. We also rode on a steam boat, and horse rides. It kept my kids very entertained and that made the parents happy too. As in most amusement parks the food was really expensive
We have been to Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad to see Thomas the Tank Engine many times! This little village is super cute. Anyone who loves trains will be thrilled to visit here to check out their railroad. Admission was a little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
This is a great place to take kids. There are some historical building replicas, Huckleberry Railroad train that you can ride through town and the Genesee Belle boat you can ride on the lake. My kids love riding the corousel and the train the most.
