Crested Butte Ski Resort

"Upscale Mountain, Small Town Feel"

We traveled to crested Butte for a wedding, and had the opportunity to hit the slopes for the day as well. First off, there's a giant stuffed polar bear that rides around the resort on a bike. Second, there's some really fabulous trails and runs for the parents. And last, the ski-school ain't bad either. Our son was kindof bored on the kiddie run (I think he might have been in the wrong section due to his size...he's small for his age), but they did figure that out and eventually took him up on the big lift and he got some decent time on the mountain. In all, a pretty awesome town to chill, and a really decent place to snowboard/ski
