Please check their calendar for the date and time of the next Houston Chronicle Family Day. They also offer Factivity Kits for young children, which include a Family Guide and special activities for children. Factivity Kits, presented in English and Spanish, are available free of charge at the information desk.

"Good lesson on art. "
I enjoy stopping in with my kids when we are attending near by museums and are in th area-- because contemporary arts museum is pretty small to warent a trip by itself. This place can expend a child's definition of what art can be. Worth th visit, plus the price cannot be beat.

"Cool and Free"
It's free. The exhibits are dynamic and vibrant. Not to overwhelming to trudge through with kids. Better for older kids and teens. They have a Houston Chronicle Family day about once a month for families to do things with kids at the museum.
