The Colorado Governor's Commission on Community Service is a state body which serves as a catalyst for the promotion and expansion of community service and volunteerism to all Colorado residents. As an organization with a statewide reach, we touch the lives of thousands of Coloradans every year through service projects and involvement by local teams of AmeriCorps members, who we fund and support.
Each year on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day the Commission helps individuals and organizations design and implement service projects to honor the legacy of Dr. King.
