"Great for out of towners"
You can paint the day away and have it shipped. Great for rainy days or even nice days since they keep the doors open and you can catch a nice breeze. Nice to sit down and let the kids regroup with a nice art project. Can make presents for the granparents or things for themselves.

"Paint Your Own Pottery Fun!"
Great activity for a rainy or wintry day in Portland when the beach is not an option! The people who work there are very kind and super helpful. No need to be an artist... just pick out a vase, frame, mug or whatever and have some fun. It takes 5 days for your pottery to be fired, etc. but if you are leaving town before it is ready they will ship to you. They also offer tons of kids programming and fun stuff for families and mom's... like girls' night out. Seems like it would be the perfect place to have a birthday party! If you become their fan on Facebook you will find out about lots of great deals and fun activities. Price will really vary depending on what you decide to paint!
