At Color Me Mine, you can create your own unique gift, host a party, or just come in to explore your creative talents. They are here to assist all those who claim to be 'artistically challenged'.
With over 400 different bisque items, and approximately 100 styles added per year there are plenty of styles to choose from. A completed, glazed piece fronts many of the selections in order to give a sense of the finished item.
In addition to a vast array of tableware, painters can select a Tomahawk, a Princess Mirror, a Chef Spaghetti Holder, Chess Set, Cabinet Knobs, a Simba Figurine, a Snow Boarder Bank, a Lighthouse w/real lighting, a Rooster, a Gargoyle or even an Elvis bust, there is truly something for everyone.

"art you don't have to clean up!"
The best part about this place is the kids can be as messy and creative as they want to be and you don't have to clean up the mess! It is a little expensive and you have to wait a good 2 to 3 weeks to get your ceramic back and those are probably the biggest downfalls. This is def best suited for older kids at least 6 and up. A younger child could paint something, but since it is on the costly side, my recommendation is a little bit older. Great place to have a birthday party!!!!

"Fun, great with the kids and even greater for a birthday party"
I went to Color Me Mine in Alameda several times and each time was a very nice experience. The staff is extremely patient and helpful. They have a lot of theme days/evenings (pyjama party and babysitting are ones of them). We eventually decided to have my daughter birthday party there and it was a huge success. The children had tons of fun and the employee who helped us went out of his way to make the party a great one. The owner Joey is wonderful and that shows on his staff!
