"Fun with the Family"

Come here to camp and canoe in winter. In warm weather the mosquitoes will drive
you away, or crazy. For the kids, the 6,400-acre park also holds a nice playground,
nature trails, and one of the dredges used to forge Tamiami Trail out of the swamps. If
you’re not up to canoeing, you can hop on a boat tour (239-642-8898) down the
Blackwater River and into the Ten Thousand Islands.
