We visited the Cobb Ranch for Halloween and a good scare. I would not recommend this for small children. It would be ok for most teenagers but know that they will get frightened!
There was a corn maze that was free for college students so we gave it a try. There wasn't anything scary about it. It was just a foggy maze with no one jumping out at you. However, we made our own fun scaring each other.
The other mazes were pretty good and we had a good scare or two (or three if you're a chicken like me). Although, I found the noise of the chain saw to be more annoying then scary. I will most likely return next year for some scary fun.
We went here during the month of October so that we could choose our pumpkins from a pumpkin patch. My daughter was only one at the time. But it had quite a bit to do for a toddler and she had a ton of fun.
There was an adorable mini-park, a corn maze, hay ride, tiny tractor pulled train, a concession stand with traditional holiday foods, as well as, an animal viewing and petting area.
My husband and I enjoyed ourselves, too. But then we always do when we see our daughter having a good time.
In addition, during the Christmas season there is a Christmas tree farm and activities pertaining to that time of year. There may be other activities throughout the year, as well.
