"pleasantly surprised"

I found this playspace on Trekaroo and highly recommend it!  We made a last minute trip to Williamsport and were looking for activities to occupy our 5 and 1 year old. Surprisingly, we all really enjoyed this place (anything with reptile in the name usually isn't on my to do list).  We enjoyed walking outside and touring the animatronic dinosaur area. The butterfly exhibit was beautiful. And, of course, plenty of snakes, frogs, turtles, tortoise, alligators and crocodiles to go around. I've seen plenty of 'by the road side' animal exhibits, and this is NOT one of them - it is an accredited zoo.  The facilities are clean and well managed. The staff are pleasant and knowledgeable - shows (educational, not stupid reptile tricks) every 90 min or so.  The animals seem to be well cared for and that's the most important thing.  If you're in the area it's worth a visit!

"Great pitstop on our roadtrips!"

We accidentally stumbled across this on our way home from a summer vacation. What a find! My 4 yr old son and I were awake, yet the 2 yr old and hubby were passed out so we took advantage and had a wonderful time! The next time we traveled near there we made a point to take the whole family(+gramma!)  Mambas, cobras, pythons and many other rare and beautiful snakes; alligators, crocodiles, giant tortoises and various species of lizards, turtles and frogs. They also have a butterfly garden which is new and a nice gift shop with all price ranges of gift, so you can get out of there with $ still in your pocket. It is really like a mini-zoo for reptiles!  Very high end aquariums and clean! Demonstrations that are exciting and educational. Watch the animals eat, see the giant tortoises close up! We will continue to visit here whenever in the area!

"Kids loved it!"

We spent my son's 7th birthday (in DECEMBER!) at Clyde Peeling's.  He loves reptiles, amphibians, and all things science.  Reptiland did not disappoint!  The birthday package was a very reasonable price, and food and cake were provided!  The employees were very knowledgeable and friendly.  The boys especially enjoyed watching them feed a snake a mouse.  They had plenty of questions and our tour guide didn't seem to mind at all.  We would highly recommend this trip!

"Fun with the Family"

Don’t miss Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland, an accredited zoo with a collection of sixty different species of reptiles and amphibians. Poison dart frogs, a giant toad, a gaboon viper, a green tree python, a king cobra, alligators, giant tortoises, turtles, iguanas— they’re all here. There are educational programs five times during the day that give visitors a chance to see and touch the animals up close.
The newly renovated indoor exhibit complex allows comfortable viewing of animals year-round. You may dine at a Subway restaurant in the entrance building. And on the third weekend of October, come learn about nocturnal animals at Reptiland’s Flashlight Safari.
Although it doesn’t offer wheelchair rentals, Reptiland is wheelchair accessible.
