"See Winter and Summer Camps"

My daughters 11, 9, 5 love this place.  It is a great way to spend 3-4 hours.  They have continuous talks about each of the animals (turtles, shark, river otters, sting ray, dolphins, etc.) and crafts for younger kids.  You can feed the sting rays.  For extra money, you can train a resident dolphin for the day. This is going to be my daughter's 12th birthday gift.  :-) It is exciting to see Winter in person and see her prosthetic tail.  This is the highlight.  My eldest daughters are participating in the highly rated summer camps where kids can participate in a wide variety of activities. If you are going to be in Clearwater/Tampa for a week during the summer, consider this option. For example, kids can go snorkeling or kayaking around Clearwater to discover marine life, prepare the food for the resident animals, learn to train animals, and (depending on the session) feed the dolphins.  There are numerous camp sessions that specialize in different areas and activities.  You choose the program that fits your child's preferences and age. http://www.seewinter.com/explore-cma/adventures-and-programs/summer-camp
We are looking forward to this.

"Winter's wonderland"

This small aquarium is best known for their famous dolphin, Winter, who lost her tail in crab trap lines.  Fortunately, she was fitted with a prosthetic tail and does amazingly well.  Her story is an inspiration for animal rescue and rehabilitation efforts in the Tampa Bay area.  Your tiny tots to teens will enjoy this animal adventure.  We visit there several times a year and bring our out of town friends for a visit.  Discounted tickets are available online.

"Absolutely Wonderful"

The Marine Aquarium hosts some amazing ocean life in an up close and personal setting. I loved going here as a child and enjoyed all the sights and even smells of the ocean while watching fish, dolphins and sharks. Great fun for a broad age range of children!

You can see dolphins, otters, turtles, you can touch stingrays and take a boat tour in the intercoastal. It is a great time and you are helping an awesome mission.

"Fun with the Family"

Kids will enjoy the daily dolphin shows (at noon, 2:00, and 4:00 p.m.) and a touch tank, and learning interactive techniques at this research and rehab facility. Aquariums contain exotic fish, and recovering dolphins, and huge sea turtles swim around in tanks. Marine biologists guide its Sea Life Safari Cruises.
