"Hard to Find But A Great Place To Bowl"

Many years ago, in my college days, some friends drove me to Classic Bowling Center but it was night time and foggy.  All I knew was that we were somewhere at the top of Skyline in Daly City.  But, I never forgot how HUGE this place was.  60 lanes.  It was all very modern, too, compared to the places I was used to in SF.  But, that was the last time I saw that place and assumed it was long gone since I could never find it again.  That is until a few months ago when my husband discovered it while entertaining our two boys one day.  After he described the place and mentioned where it was, I knew it had to be the same place!  Once I saw for myself, my assumptions were confirmed.  Happily, Classic Bowling Center is still very clean and the service is great.  60 lanes and it never seems terribly busy.  There's also a restaurant that serves burgers, dogs, sandwiches and Filipino food.  What's been great is the summer deal for the kids...$5 for two games and shoe rental.  That's hard to beat!
