"Don't bother visiting the Citadel Mall"

Unless you have a good reason (like a certain store you want to visit), there's really nothing that stands out about this place.  And in recent years it's really gone downhill too.  The other mall in Colorado Springs, the Chapel Hills Mall, is MUCH better.

"Try Chapel Hills"

The Citadel is the less classy of the two malls in town. If I were bringing children, I would recommend going to the Chapel Hills Mall instead, as it is a lot nicer. The Citadel is somewhat trashy, and it is always a lot more crowded than the other mall.

"Decent."

Out of the 2 malls here in the Springs, this one is definitely not the nicer. It has a play area for the kids but each time I have gone it was crowded so we didn't stop. Decent stores & food. The glow in the dark mini golf is fun & a plus. They added a laser maze recently in the same place as the mini golf which seems to look like fun. The best things here are the golf, some of the stores and food.

"Cute play area"

On rainy days, I like to take my kids to the Citadel Mall.  They have a cute little kids play area.  There are several climbing things, a tunnel, a slide, and seats for adults to sit on.  It's a great place to let the kids run off some energy.   There is also an area close by that has 4 or 5 coin operated rides for the kids.
