History and Beauty at 9/11 spot. The lovely church is the oldest Roman Catholic parish in New York City and New York State. The church is right next to the site of the twin towers and the destruction that took them down on 9/11. It is amazing that this church did not sustain substantial damage during the 9/11 attacks. If you choose to visit the site of the twin towers i recommend visiting this church and shopping at Century 21.
