A park in downtown Boston with beautiful gardens, children's playground equipment, and bike paths along the waterfront.

This site has any and all information one needs about the Park. There is a place for anyone and everyone to help the dedicated volunteers from the Waterfront and North End community maintain the beauty of the Park.
Besides the obvious beauty of it and fun one can enjoy there, both individually and with the family, did you know Boston Magazine voted the wisteria-covered, blue-lighted archway one of the top 10 most romantic spots in Boston? Many marriage proposals have been offered in both the Rose Garden and under the archway.
When the kids need a place to run off some energy, head to Christopher Columbus/Waterfront Park; it’s one of the few places in Boston where people can actually relax on the waterfront without having to order something to eat.
There’s a nice plaground (watch the little ones; the crow’s nest is inviting, but the climb down is beyond most toddlers’ abilities), as well as lots of room to stretch your legs. The rose garden is dedicated to Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, the late matriarch of the Kennedy clan, who was born near here.
