Started in 1940, a group of families on Fulton Road were brought together to light up their street together for the holidays and a tradition was born. Come enjoy one of Palo Alto's favorite holiday traditions. Fun for kids of all ages.
Christmas Tree Lane lights and decorations are displayed (approx.) one week before Christmas through New Years Eve. Christmas Tree Lane's first night will be a Saturday night. Lights are turned on at 5:00 pm and turned off at 11pm nightly through New Year's Eve.
Best to walk the Street: It is recommended that you park on adjacent neighborhood streets and "Stroll" down Christmas Tree Lane. Driving down the Street: Caution, Fulton Street is not a one-way street. Drivers, please turn off your headlamps to "park" and drive slowly down the street. Anticipate adults and children crossing Fulton Street - along the Lane.
I have been going to Christmas Tree Lane since I was a small child. Christmas Tree Lani is decorated each year by residents of this street in Palo ALto. You will sometimes find carolers after dark. You can either walk or drive this beautiful street. Little ones will love this holiday treat!
Every year, kids love to walk through this "Christmas Tree Lane" to see the private display of festive lights in the spirit of Christmas. You need to park outside of Fulton Road and walk in since it is a one way drive through street.
