This is rated for kids from 1-8 but all ages will enjoy the time there. It is a real hands on experience for 4-6 year olds. From looking at bugs, experimenting with water erosion and putting on your own play there are lots of things to enjoy and see here. Want a private party? They can make it happen depending on what your child likes. When you are done checking out all the museum has to offer, head on up to the mall (right above the museum) and have lunch at one of the many restaurants, a the food court or even around the area at one of the many eateries.
The Children's museum is FILLED with fun things to do for kids! There is an entire area sectioned off with foam climbing equipment for toddlers/crawlers, and the number of things to do for older kids is simply too numerous to mention them all! There is a car track and road, a water table, a stage...it goes on and on, and the price is reasonable!
This is a great place to take your children ages 1-8. The museum has space to park your gear and stroller. Children are able to play instruments, make art projects, explore a miniature city, and much more. The museum is small, but has plenty of activties that keep kids engaged. We packed our lunch for the day and ate at a table in the museum. The museum is located below the Riverpark Square. Riverpark Square has a food court, larger restaurants, movie theater, and many shops. Also, Riverpark Square is located across the street from Riverfront Park.
