"Free Concerts in the Summer!"

We wouldn't specifically take our kids to this park unless we were at the shopping area nearby or going to a free concert. The statues are interesting and are a nice glimpse into another culture but realistically the kids will find it boring save for the grassy hillsides they can roll down. The park hosts free concerts in the summer that are always fun to attend.

"Free walking tour"

The Chapungu Sculpture Park is an amazing display of stone sculptures from Zimbabwe. The 50-year tradition of sculpting contemporary works is compelling. Sculptures often show family life and figures that are easy to relate to. The vision of the Sculpture Park founder, Roy Guthrie, has been to encourage artists to create large powerful works and to show these in well curated and documented exhibitions. The Park is just east of Centerra, an interesting outdoor mall with a Macy's, Rock Bottom Brewery, P.F. Changs, On the Border and much more.
