"You're missing out if you have not been!"

This is one of my favortie summertime hangouts.  I want to start off by saying that the prices to get in and for food are super reasonable.  The water is nice and there is a huge beach for kids to play in the sand.  There is a lot of space but I would get there early so you don't have to sit in the mud.  You can also bring in your own coolers to picnic.

"Fun, clean, safe, great for the whole family "

This is the best swimming place for families.  It's like going to a sandy beach but with the security and structure of a pool. I love that they do safety breaks every hour where they make everyone get out of the pool and they do a sweep of the entire pool. If a child is really lost they know how to find them.

"Swimming for all ages"

Centennial Beach is the local community "pool" although it features so much more than a pool.  What this mom of small kids appreciates is how there is something for everyone.  For the toddler who is uncertain about water, there are water fountains.  For the small kids, the shallow end area is huge and includes a water slide.  The bigger kids can enjoy jumping into the deeper area from floating platforms.  After swimming and water play, there is a large sand "beach" area and grassy areas surrounding the water for lounging and picnics.  Great way to spend a hot day in the summer!
