"Fun and Free"

The Celestial Seasonings Tea Factory is a fun little afternoon outing if you are in the area and the price is right (free!!). The tour is very interesting and one of the highlights is their "Mint Room" where they store all of the mint for their tea. Step in and it clears your sinuses :) Along with the tour they have their tasting room where you can taste all of their different teas. This is what I looked forward to the most but the tea tasting room was closed for an event when we went, but, as a consolation, they gave everyone coupons for a free box of tea! I would recommend this tour for ages 10 and up. Littler ones would be fine but they would probably get board.

"Free & Educational!"

Taking this tour is almost like stepping into the world of WIlly Wonka, tea style. The tour is fascinating and the peppermint room will knock your socks off, the scent is so overwhelming but enjoyable all at the same time. Young children aren't allowed in but so fun for the older ones who have always wondered about how tea was manufactured.

"Mmmm! Peppermint! "

This is a great and FREE fieldtrip for anyone over the age of 5.
(If you have younger children, they aren't allowed inside, so you will have to leave them to hang out w/ your spouse or another adult w/ you in the gift shop while you take the tour)
It is fascinating to walk through and see how the teas are packaged and learn how and where they are grown. The peppermint room will clear your sinuses, and leave you feeling so revived and refreshed! Don't forget to stop at the adorable gift shop on your way out!

"A wonderful tour - don't miss the mint room!"

My hubby and I visited this factory on our honeymoon.  It's a fun way to see food production in action and sample tons of tea!  Even if you're not a hot tea drinker, you'll love all the selections you can make into iced tea.  The tour isn't complete without a visit to the heavenly mint room, where the scent of fresh peppermint and spearmint tea leaves thoroughly engages your senses!  Don't forget to stop for a meal in their wonderful cafe', either!  After your tour, you might even be asked to stay and participate on a tasting panel - we did!  (correct demographics!)
