We rented this house on Cedar Creek lake for 3 days.
"It is the best kept secret on the lake"
It is in a great quite community.
The little town had a 4th of July Parade.
Brand new fire truck. The kiddo's rode on top. Screaming Wahoo!
Model A & T cars.
About 30 different families built their own floats with the neighbor kids.
The floats all followed behind the police chef's car driving along the homes on the water front. All the neighbors were out on their lawns waving and cheering.
The fire station & firemen cooked hot dogs & served them up.
There was a big bake sale, face painting, pie eating contest, provided by the town hall.
Then we all walked back the lake house.
A 3 bedroom 2 bath on the water. Sleeps 6 comfortably.
With new LG washer & dryer. Lots of towels & wet clothes.....
Nice wrap around deck with 3 different doors that open on it.
Lots of oak trees.
Hammock. Two neat Mexican Riveria Chaise Lounges with big yellow and white striped cushions. Great for reading and relaxing.
Sunroom and a commercial kitchen with a big old ranch hand butcher block table for the family to cook around.
There is a gorgeous photon boat that can be rented.
That night there were fireworks display's were all over the lake.
It was spectacular. The kids shot off some fireworks down by the pier.
The land is very wooded with plenty of walking or riding bikes.
Kids were driving golf carts around on the little paved streets.
Town hall has pool and playground.
Soccer/football field by the fire station.
The house has a huge 16 ft stone fireplace.
I want to go back this January...so we can cook some fabulous meals and enjoy that stone fireplace.
One of the neighbors said they do a bonfire on the land out front.
Complete with "delicious hobo stew". Yummy. Serve me up!
