"Interesting way to cross the Mississippi"
The Cassville Car Ferry is a small ferry boat that will get you across the Mississippi River from Cassville, Wisconsin, to near Millville, Iowa. The ride is only about 10 minutes long, and the ferry holds 4-6 vehicles, but it's a unique river crossing.
There's a park next to the ferry landing, with a nice playground. It worked well since we just missed one boat and had to wait for the next one.

"Facinating for children"
No matter what ages your children are, this is an activity that can be enjoyed by all. Kids love the fact that you drive your car right on the boat and will ask dozens of questions about how it all works! Whether you do it as part of your journey, or just to cross the river in a unique way, it will be enjoyable.

"So neat"
We love taking the kids on the ferry. What is cooler to a little boy who loves boats than being able to drive your car onto one?! Something fast but fun for kids of all ages. No matter how many times we ride it, my kids never seem to get bored with it. Great to use on your way to another activity to break up the day.
