"Shopper's Heaven"
I love a good outlet mall!! This is a great shopping center. I was able to score some really great deals and have a fun, stress-free time doing so. Carlsbad has great weather too!! There were plenty of places to eat and they were reasonably priced too! My daughter and I had a great time shopping all afternoon!!!

"lots of great buys!"
I went to Carlsbad on a business trip with my husband so while he spent the day learning I spent the day shopping. They have a big Starbucks with indoor and outdoor seating. There are a lot of higher end outlet clothing stores there that are different from anything I can find in Iowa. If you are in the area definately worth checking out.

"Bargains galore, though not at all stores"
There is quite a bit of children's clothing and gear here. There's a Carter's, Stride Rite, Ralph Lauren and more kids stores. There's also a super kid friendly Ruby's which is where we usually eat. The outlet mall is outdoors and my daughter likes going there. I always hit the jackpot at the Carter's store though.
I would caution to not expect bargains at every store. Some of the stores seem to sell at close to regular prices.

"Great Shopping"
This is a great shopping center with new restuarants going in around it all time! This is located very close the flower fields which ideal for doing them on the same day. The shopping is great! There are outlets gallore, tons of kids clothing stores: Baby Gap, Osh Kosh, and Carters. There is great clothing for adults and tons of shoe stores! I think that this location rivals the Viejas outlets.
For the kids there are some riding toys, and fountains to play with (jumping water is always a hit!)
