"Visit with a realistic expectation"

I had originally heard about this waterpark on Trekaroo and kept in the back of mind until we started planning our spring break vacation. One of the problems that occurs for my family on vacation is that most tourist attractions close around 5:00 and then after dinner we are bored. My idea was to visit this waterpark after dinner until it closed as a way to have fun and fill some time.
My family has visited Great Wolf Lodge before so I attempted to set my 12 year old son up with a realistic expectation by referring to it as a mini water park. Calling this a waterpark is a bit of a stretch but it is more than just a pool. There is a large pool with basketball, a floating dolphin, water walk pool, hot tub, shallow area with slide and dumping bucket. There are also two waterslides but unfortunately one of them was out of order when we visited.
After about an hour my son said he was bored and asked to go back to the room. My daughter who is 2 1/2 had a blast and was perfectly content to stay there. The temperature is 84 degrees inside but I found the water in the pools to be a bit too cold. My husband also told me the hot tub could have been warmer. This may have been on purpose because children of all ages are allowed in the hot tub.
They provide towels and there are several lifeguards around. I would recommend this waterpark for younger children but please arrive with a realistic expectation. It is fine for what it is and is something different to break up a vacation in Lancaster!

Please note: To gain access to this waterpark you must stay at one of the following hotels:  Econo Lodge North (1 block away), Economy Inn (1/2 block away), Wingate by Wyndham (Adjacent) Budget Host Inn (Attached).  Please read on my review about Budget Host Inn.

"Kids Loved It !!"

Our kids loved their trip to the Budget Host Inn & Suites Caribbean Indoor Waterpark in Lancaster, Pa.   The indoor waterpark had 4 pools that kept the kids busy thru out the day.  We went shopping in the afternoon but the kids just could not wait to get back to the hotel and the waterpark.  We booked their waterpark package which included an over night stay and 4 passes all day to the waterpark. Great visit and highly recommend for kids.

"Fantastic Indoor Waterpark !"

All of our children had a great time at the Caribbean Indoor Waterpark at the Budget Host Inn & Suites in Lancaster, Pa.   We booked their Waterpark Package which included 4 passes to the waterpark and an over night stay at the hotel.  The park had 4 pools, one wading pool, one basketball alligator crossing pool, a hot tub/spa, and big slide in which you go outside and come back into the park and drop into a pool.  My 6 year old loved their wading pool since it had a small slide and a big dumping bucket.  Great visit !!!!!
