"wish we lived closer"

The nature center in Cape is the best I have ever been to!  Not only is it newly renovated and has great family hiking trails and resources to enlighten families on the beauty of Missouri, it is a homeschool mom's science haven.  Every month they have an animal or type of animal (like "creatures of the night") that they focus a program on for different age groups.  My 6 year old went to the :mudpuppies" program for 2-5 year olds when we lived there and looked forward to it every time.  The children's programs are led by a group of volunteers who love nature and pass along that love to our children.  Wish we had something similar here in KC.
