"If you LOVE Chocolate & Candy... you'll LOVE this! "

The Chocolate Bar is a MUST for almost any celebration. They make all of the chocolate in the store and you can get chocolate gifts for any occasion. I have seen little chocolate brides and grooms, as well as dog treats! If you go to the chocolate bar right after a major holiday, you can usually get great quality treats for a fraction of the cost. We went to the Chocolate Bar last week for my birthday and my husband and I split a piece of the Chocolate Velvet Cake. The slices of cake are HUGE!! I would recommend splitting a slice with at least one other person, maybe even two other people. Their hot chocolate shots are super tasty and the perfect treat for a chilly night. Recently, I had the Chocolate Cherry Pecan Ice cream and it was delicious!  Happy Treating, I mean, Eating! :)

"Didn't like it"

I found this place underwhelming.  Yes, there are a lot of candies and it does all look colorful. But when you look at it closer, its just a bunch of overpriced low quality sweets. I enjoy sharing good quality chocolates with my kids but I just don’t see a reason to come here again.  Its just not fun to take them someplace bad for them just so i can practice setting limits.

"Go sugar-crazy!"

I've ben to these shops in Rice Village. You gotta have incredible discipline to go in here with the kids. I suggest you set the rules before even stepping in...then enjoy the incredible and fun variety and  when you find 5 kinds of sweets that you haven't seen since your childhood - try to buy them without the kids catching you. Chocolate bar is as its name suggests -chocolates, choclate snacks, ice-cream (various chocolates) and chocolate cakes. A great place to brig the kids on a hot summer day or if they've been good.
