I knew I would be spending some time in South Tahoe with my two kids alone, and I was desperate for some cheap activities. Someone recommended the Camp Richardson Corral to me, and it was by FAR the best $10 spent the whole trip. For only $5 per child, they can ride a horse. It is advertised as a Pony Ride for ages 6 and under. So, I was picturing a little pony going around a circle in a pen. A thrill for my kiddos ages 5 and 3 I thought. When we got there however, it was not a tiny pony at all. The best part- the trainer actually walks the horse around a little trail right there. My kids LOVED it! They do many activities at the Corral, but having a special option just for young kiddos is priceless. We will for sure stop back when we are in the area! Not to mention, the Corral is gorgeous, and the horses are beautiful. Awesome place!
