"Absolute favorite"
This is my absolute favorite roller coaster that I have ever been on (limited to CA). The super fast start, smooth track, great air, speedy turns, and the upside down loop make for a really great and fun thrill. I'm usually laughing through most of the ride because it is so fun. Because of the secure shoulder bar, I feel super comfortable and not afraid that I could fall out, which leads to more fun because I can feel my body lift off the seat slightly with some of the dips.
Younger kids will know what they are getting into before they ride this ride and can make a good determination whether they are ready.. Unlike taking a child on Soace Mountain where he doesn't know how fast and dark it is until he is inside (not a good choice for my 5 year old!!).
FastPass and Rider Switch are available and I highly recommend it. There is also a great viewing area just next to the start of the ride where you can watch riders take off at super speed. Totally fun to watch them!

"Fun thrills, but not overly scary"
Disney did a good thing bringing a few thrill rides to California Adventure. REAL thrillseekers and coaster riders will point out that this ride is pretty tame compared to the standard, but for Disney, it is pretty fun.
The ride starts out with a fun burst of speed and eventually goes over the only upside down loop in the park. The fastpass for this ride saves you quite a bit of time on a busy day, so plan accordingly.
