"Love this zoo"

I love the Caldwell Zoo. My daughter who is 4 loves it too. We can see the entire zoo in one day and there is a play area where I can sit and let her play in the sand and on the tractor and truck they have set up for the kids. The wild bird cage where you get to feed the birds are amazing.

"LOVE THIS ZOO!!!"

The Caldwell Zoo is a small quaint zoo located in Tyler, Texas.  I have taken my two little girls (ages three and four) there several times when we lived in Shreveport, Louisiana.  This zoo is well laid-out, easy to navigate, clean and well maintained.  It is perfect for little ones and us grown ups too because you can easily see everything in one day...but you also don't feel like you got ripped off either.

"One Of The Best"

For a small town zoo, this is one of the best. We were very surprised at how much we enjoyed it, and we've been to a lot of zoos! The layout was great, the animals looked well kept and the habitats were great. A few that needed upkeep, but not that many. Would recommend a visit for all ages!

"FUN!"

We got season passes to this zoo for Christmas and we are SOOO excited.  They have a great birdhouse where the kids can feed the birds.  Also, a house with penguins and another house for the reptiles.  One of our favorite animals is the ant eater, she just had a baby and it is too cute.  We are going to have a great year at this zoo!

"Fun with the Family"

The Caldwell Zoo started as a backyard menagerie, but it’s now a thirty-five-acre zoo with elephant and giraffe houses, a monkey island, birds, bears, and alligators. That the zoo was designed especially for children is evident in the milk-cow exhibit.
