"the pumpkins are great!"

If you’re in the area this is a great pumpkin patch. We have gone the past 6 years. When my husband was little you actually use to be able to cut the pumpkins off the vine. Now you just get to choose them…load them into your wagon and wheel them out. Still a great experience. They have a huge, massive hill covered with pumpkins! The kids always get a kick out of picking their pumpkin. Even though I organize a pumpkin patch at my son’s school every year…we still go here. It’s a tradition and we can’t seem to break it.
We really do just go for the pumpkins though. And the pumpkins are really reasonably priced. You just pay a flat rate for each pumpkin!
We have had a couple of bad experiences with the food vendors. We have found the food to be overpriced…which of course you expect…but when the vendors are rude…it makes it a little harder to hand over your precious dollars. So we don’t spend money on the food any more…especially the lemonade stand which is really just bad sugar water. Oh well…except for the kettle corn…and the shaved ice…we just can’t pass that up;)
Having said that the store that they have there with produce is pretty neat. You will usually find students in there and they are usually helpful.
This last year when we went we had to sign a waver for the kids to do the bounce house etc…it was a little strange. Then when the kids went into the bounce house the attendant spent the whole time texting…
So when you go…go for the pumpkins…maybe skip the other stuff…apart from the cal poly store, the kettle corn and the shaved ice;)

"a MUST do for all"

If you are near Pomona, CA near the end of October this is the best pumpkin patch ever!  They fill the entire area with pumpkins of every kind.  Bring your wagon and kids to pick the perfect pumpkin or 5.  We always end up making a family because it's hard to choose 1. They are really affordable too.  THey have an insect fair that coincides with the pumpkin patch that is really amazing too.  If that wasn't enough Cal Poly has a farm store straight from their own crops and that is really a great deal as well.  We have been going since our kids were -1 and 2.
