"Nice during the summer"
This park is in the center of a lot of activities and hotels. It is directly across the street from the Fairmont Hotel and the tech museum. There are also a ton of restaurants walking distance. They've got a ton of park benches to sit and relax. There is a lot of space for kids to run around and play. During the summer, there is an area where water shoots out from the ground and kids/adults enjoy running through it to keep cool. This park also hosts Christmas in the Park.

"View Christmas Lights"
The City of San Jose has a yearly "Christmas in the Park" at the Caesar Chavez Park on Market St. Families can enjoy a walk across from the Fairmont Hotel to view a variety of themed lighted displays for the holidays. Free admission for all ages. This is located across from the Tech Museum and San Jose Art Museum, as well as nearby outdoor ice skating in the past.
