"Great Fun."

whether it be the Jimmy Buffet inspiration or the fascination of the dollar bills everywhere..... the food is great, the service is wonderful and the island is charming. I forget the name of the turtles that burrow into the hills but they provide good entertainment!!

"Fun with the Family"

If you’re out on the water, lunch on Cabbage Key is a must. It’s served in a historic inn
built by novelist Mary Roberts Rinehart in the 1930s as a wedding gift to her son.
Some say Jimmy Buffett was inspired to write “Cheeseburger in Paradise” here. He’s
one of millions who have taped an autographed dollar bill to the inn’s wall. After
lunch, have a walk around the small island’s short nature trail. The inn is open for
lunch and dinner daily.
