"Good Place to Explore"

This is a very small museum, but has a lot of interesting Indian artifacts and things to see! The museum is mostly geared towards kids and families and hosts several school field trips. It is only open M-F 8a-5p, so it's a great day activity when there's not much else going on. Besides, it's free to enter and explore! I would recommend going at least once if you are in the area!

"Small, but free"

We live just around the corner from this small BYU museum, and I will occasionally drop in with my toddler when we don't have anything else to do on a winter day. There are only three small rooms and a limited number of exhibits, but he likes me to read him the plaques and there are a few more interactive spots like a puzzle thing in the kids' room and then right now they have a little felt exhibit where you "make" a Mayan robe-type clothing.

We go to the storytime on Fridays sometimes, but the students that run it are a little dry and rarely keep the littler ones attention. They read long, involved books and then do a craft that is usually too advanced for my 2.5-yr-old. I like it because there are usually 5-6 kids there as opposed to the 45 kids at the Provo City Library's storytimes, but at least at that one they sing songs and have puppet shows and my son will sit through them.

"Better for the older kids, still a great learning experience"

This Museum is not for the little kids, as they will get bored very quickly.  Mostly artifacts here of people and cultures of long ago here in the Utah area.  I took my Cub Scouts here last year, and if they didn't have this sheet to fill out answers of questions to, they would have been done looking around in 5 minutes.  As it was, there were neat masks, pots, clay items, tools, etc. and many depictions to help the interest.

"Museum of People and Cultures"

This one is OK for kids, but probably won't be their favorite place ever.  As an adult, I totally loved this museum.  It's not the biggest thing ever, but they do have some really interesting exhibits for those who are into anthropology at all.  I definitely enjoyed it!!

"Do not waste your time. "

Do not waste your time with this place. If you are really into learning about cultures than you may mildly enjoy this place. It is a very small house like building and would not easily accommodate a stroller. I found it dull and a little depressing. Dimly lit. The upside is that it is completely free, hence the 2 stars.
