"Something for everyone"

Like most university bookstores, the BYU bookstore has practically everything you could possibly need. Kind of like a mini and overpriced Wal-mart. There are snacks, groceries, a great candy counter with delicious chocolate-covered cinnamon bears, clothing, toys, books, tools, etc. They always have a great selection of children's books, and we like to check out their sale tables because you can find awesome deals ($3, 4, 5 hardcover children's books). They also do a little storytime that we went to once before that was really food. They have a nice little nook for kids to play in and we like to go in there and read when we are on campus and waiting for my husband to finish up a test or class.

At the end of the semester and for General Conference (October, April) they have big sales, check it out then!

"If you visit BYU, Gotta go to the BYU Bookstore!"

So.....this isn't really a "fun" place per se, it's a bookstore! :) BUT they do sell a lot of BYU "stuff" that the kids like to look at (keychains, stuffed animals, stickers, mugs, songs, etc.) and of course t-shirts and sweatshirts.  There is also a YUMMY candy counter right in the middle of it that has the best fudge!  Right next to the bookstore is the Cougar Eat and you can get all sorts of different lunch, plus an ice cream/doughnut place with their freshly made goods!  Yum!!!  It's always fun to walk around BYU, and the bookstore is fun, too, but you never get a discount except at 20% near Christmas---so if you're looking to shop for books, go to Deseret Book or Seagull for coupons and much better prices!

"Great variety!"

Both my husband and I attended BYU as students for our undergraduate degrees. I know I depended on the BYU Bookstore for a variety of reasons, including affordable & healthy snack options while on campus, as well as for their famed candy counter. There were always great bargains to be had on books, knick knacks and often even clothing items. It was also a great place to meet up with friends.

"My Husband Would Call it "The Greatest Place on Earth""

That's right, my husband would call it "The Greatest Place on Earth."  Were better to buy a BYU mug and get your scriptures engraved--they have it all.  They also have a great selection of gifts for everyone in the family.  At the end of each semester, the entire store is also 20% off.
