Busch Gardens is a blast! Of course, it's filled with some amazing coasters, but if you arent a fan of those, there is still plenty to do! The animals are amazing and the kids can have a blast in the Sesame Street area. Plenty of beer for the adults, if that's your thing, and bunches of yummy food. The shops have something for everyone.
Busch Gardens is a little fun for the entire family! I love the kids section where the kids can play with water and enjoy their own rides. Water rides are great and even the shows are worth seeing! If you check out the florida residents deals on their websites you can get some good deals, if you are not a florida resident then friends can help you out too! Military families get either one person or the whole family for free! check it out! God Bless You!
We had a wonderful time at Busch Gardens. First, you think of "Roller Coaster" which is true, Busch Gardens has lots of coasters for the teen-grown up scene, but when you take a closer look the park is full of animal exhibts, safari rides, shows, and kid friendly exhibits. We had the BEST time on the safari ride! Seeing wild animals in their natural habitat was worth the price of admission. Seeing the Busch Cyldesdale horses in their stalls and working rings was a really wonderful time too.
There's so much to do here! There are shows, rides, plus you can go on safari via monorail. We loved the Budweiser Horses exhibit. A couple times daily, they gear up the horses and parade around the park. The park is very clean, plus there are lots of neat shops. There's something for everyone here!
Busch Gardens really has it all for families, even with a 13-month-old. There's roller coasters, water rides, and animals! I wish our vacation could have included a second day here instead of going back to Disney. My son loved seeing all the animals, and LOVED seeing Elmo at Sesame Street. Meanwhile, the rest of us adults definitely got our fill of the roller coasters and water rides. Of course, we couldn't take the little one on the rides, but my dad doesn't really enjoy the coasters, so he was more than happy to spend some quality time with my son while we were riding. And we loved seeing all the animals too! The tigers were definitely our favorites, with the hippos and gorillas coming in just behind. This place is wonderful!
Busch Gardens in Tampa is a GREAT EXPERIENCE especially for older kids and thrill seekers. The roller coasters are death defying and definitely NOT for the faint of heart. Entertainment galore, wonderful animal park for the little ones, but mostly geared to older kids. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR LITTLE ONES!

We visited Busch Gardens in December, and it was absolutely amazing. My kids (ages 4 and 2) both loved it. There was so much there to keep them engaged. My 2 year old loved looking at all the animals, and my 4 year old really enjoyed the Elmo play area. My 2 year old enjoyed the play area too, but it was definitely more fun for the 4 year old. There are also plenty of thing for the older crowd too. Busch Gardens has some of the craziest roller coasters, and they are currently building another one. We spent 2 days there and it was not enough. I would recommend getting there early as it gets busier throughout the day. If you are considering going... DO IT.. you will not be disappointed.
I was expecting Busch Gardens to have a great family feel to it, hoping for a Disneyland type atmosphere, but it felt much more like a carnival full of average rides, most of which were rollercoasters that jostled your brains around. There were a couple of really thrilling coasters that made the trip worth it, but Busch Gardens is park for teens and adults. Young children will not find much to do there.
There are many singular attractions set up in Busch gardens. There are outdoor attractions and and indoor both. So if you don't want to be out in the heat all day you can plan your day so that you are indoors other than your walking time between. They have vendors for food and shops for souvenirs for kids and adults alike. My favorite shop had to have been where we bought the fudge. Warning it is a bit on the pricey side but oh so good and a very rare splurge for us. It was all easily accessible to us and was very not crowded. We had a military discount so I am not sure of the normal prices.
Our family of five has been to Busch Gardens several times. We purchased annual passes twice. The are many attractions and great food. It's conveniently located only about (10) ten miles from where we live. My youngest daughter, who is now grown, still goes there with her friends. My oldest daughter and her family of four go there with my grandson's, ages 5 and 8. I would recommend this park to tourists and residents. It's a great park for families, especially if you have children.
Ok, so this park is HUGE!!! There is so much to see and do here!! Great rollar coasters for the older kids and adults in your group and wonderful animal areas and kiddy rides for the younger people in your group. We had a great time and everybody left tired and happy!!!
This is a hard one to review...because I am coming to it both as a mom AND roller coaster enthusiast. Fortunately, Busch Gardens has enough of everything for kids and kids-at-heart. Great rides, great shows, and a good location right in the heart of Tampa's suburbs. The Sesame Street attraction is perfect for any little ones two and up and there is a huge array of rides for kids of all ages/sizes (all the way up to Sheikra, which even I am too chicken to ride). We live five minutes from Busch Gardens and definitely plan to get season passes this year, because there is so much to do.
If you like a great zoo, then this is the place for you! There are lots of different animals and shows to keep your little ones occupied. If you have older children, they will enjoy the rides, too. My 3 year old really liked the safari train. She had a blast!
I could not say enough wonderful things about Busch Gardens. The park has been keeping up with the park over the past years. It is always coming up with new and exciting rides, and other animal encounters. I have had a seasons pass the past couple of years. It's not only great for the kids, but great for adults. I often go there with my family as well as by myself. IT IS GREAT!
We had the awesome opportunity to come here while it was free admission for enlisted military members. This was not the first time they did this so check back to see if you are eligible! Our favorite part was the animals.
There are so many different types of rides at Bush Gardens; you do not have to just ride the very scary rides such as sheikra. My nephew who is five years old even enjoyed going to Busch Gardens he loved the train ride safari. I love the restaurants in Busch Gardens too!
We took our two girls (ages 2 and 3) over the summer to visit Busch Gardens. They were thrilled with the videos I showed the from the website and we overall exited about seeing all of the animals. We did plenty of research on line about the attractions and what was appropriate for children and felt very prepared. When we entered the park, we immediately went towards the safari train, only to find out after we trekked all the way there that it was under construction. There is no sign out front, no notation on the website, etc. That is the only way the girls could see all of the animals, as they were too young to ride in the jeeps. They finally re routed us to the sky lift and while we were on it, it broke down for 35 minutes.
Eventually we were compensated for our trouble, but even that was like pulling teeth. Customer service is just really lacking!
Busch Gardens has something for everyone. There are shows for the adults; kiddie rides for the little ones; and tons of roller coasters for your thrill seekers. If you wanna get wet, there's even rides for that! On your way out, don't forget to get some Dippin' Dots!
Oh my! :) Busch Gardens is a very family friendly amusement park. Water rides are great in Florida especially during the summer. We would recommend going in the winter months as it seems a little less busy. Usually the lines are not that long, even during the summer.
Roller coasters are the best around! Employees are always friendly and helpful. All the animals and the animal encounters are awesome!
Would suggest that a stroller is either rented or brought along for smaller children as there is alot of walking and a fairly steep hill. New play area recently built, called Safari of Fun, and its mainly for the younger children but can be enjoyed by all as there are water play areas throughout.
Breakfast and Lunch with Elmo is available for an additional fee but if your child likes Elmo this is great!
Annual passes are available while at the park as well as online. Monthly payment plan is available for passes which is helpful and convenient for larger families like ours! :)
