The Brisbane Community Pool is outdoors and has a lap pool and baby pool. Both pools are heated year-round to about 80 degrees. Swim diapers required.
We have spent many a pleasant summer day at the Brisbane Pool. It is conveniently located minutes from SF in the darling town of Brisbane. It is a fairly new facility so the pool and changing facilities are very clean. There are no chairs at the pool but there is a nice lawn to sit on. There is also a cute playground directly next door that you can visit during breaks. It is $6 a visit for non-residents but you can buy a book of passes which brings the price down. Also, if you expect to go a lot you can buy a family season pass which will pay for itself fairly quickly. The pool is heated and has a zero depth entry which is great for the younger set. The lifeguards are very attentive and fairly strict (but nice). The afternoons in Brisbane can be windy and you may be very grateful the pool is heated. Bring a picnic lunch and spend the day!
