Not your average library. Different exhibits every month, storytime for the young ones, different walks around Boulder, hands on art for teens.
We LOVE Boulder Public Library. We are there at least once a week to exchange old borrowed books for new ones. My five-year-old and three-year-old each have their own library card, which they think is super cool. The librarians in the children's section amaze me. They are so helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I love that they are always changing the displays to match the season, a current holiday, etc. My girls especially love storytime. It's so engaging and goes beyond just books as kids learn new songs and rhymes, and they get to stand up and "get out their wiggles" with a little dance from time to time. I couldn't be happier with BPL. It's such a blessing in our community. I highly recommend using it to its full potential for your family!
The main public library in Boulder is right by the creek with areas for the kids to play in the water when the weather is good. The kids area inside the library has areas for play or quiet places to sit and read. The library also hosts special events which can be fun. I like this place a lot as a good rainy/cold day destination.
