"Love to go watch the fireworks!"

This is the best fireworks show around! I have been going to watch Boomsday since I was a kid and it gets better and better every year!  They have all kinds of activities during the day until the show starts that night! They have music that plays along with the show! If you really want to have a good time, rent a boat and watch the show on the water! Awesome!!  The only downside it the traffic after the show! Now that I have a little one we watch it on tv!

"Fun!"

What a great way to spend Labor day!  Amazing fireworks show and awesome food (plus there is always lots of other stuff going on!).  This really is more fun than the 4th of July!   And if you have a boat - you can watch from the river - gorgeous!  Get there early for a good seat.

"Best Fireworks Ever! "

If you love fireworks and fun, then the Boomsday Fireworks Show is a great place to party with friends and family. Our family all agreed that these were some of the best fireworks that we have ever seen, and the music from the live orchestra made the event even more exciting.

"Big Labor Day Fireworks Festival "

Boomsday is an East Tn tradition held on the Sunday before Labor Day. It's one of the largest Labor Day firework show in the U.S. The fireworks are wonderful and synchronized to music which is played over PA and on local radio stations. By far the best displays are the "smoke on the water" and the waterfall. The fun starts around noon and continues until the big show at 9:30. There is music, food, children's activities, and more. Get there early to get a good spot to see the show. There is a no outside food or drink rule, as well as a few others, which you can find by visiting www.boomsday.org. One of the best yearly attractions in Knoxville.
