I attended a media event here with complimentary entry. I'd driven by a number of times but never, ever stopped in. My daughter is 4 so she is too young for bumper cars and miniature golf. I just assumed Boomers is too old for her. However, there were other kids her age and they just basically hung around the arcade area for hours. I admit, I was bored, but they sure were not. Because 4 year olds are not rabid gamers, I also didn't spend too much money on tokens. A nice person gave them his tickets and they were able to redeem his plus theirs for a lot of prizes.
I do think that if a family of four could spend quite a bit of money here between entry, tokens and food. I think this is a place for locals, not necessarily tourists. Tourists are better off at the Balboa Park attractions, Sea World, LEGOLAND or the Zoo.
Coupons on the website! Each one of my family members received a free $10 for signing up online. We also got a free spin at the wheel. We played the whole night for just $50 which was FREE so the whole night was FREE!!!! AMAZING. I beat all my kids in DDR
Boomers is fun to take the family to. We love the go karts and playing games. The mini golf is fun to try and beat your kids at! On the weekdays they have specials anywhere from buy one get one free or free unlimited game play. Tons of rides and bumper boats is fun in the summer! Been to a couple birthday parties that were so much fun to attend. great party packages and great deals during the week
We were looking for something fun the whole family could do together. I was happy to learn they have something for multiple ages (my youngest is 8yo and I have also have teens). Boomers offers a large arcade and game room that included air hockey tables and skee ball (plus snack bar). Outside we enjoyed miniature golf, go karts, a ferris wheel, tea cup ride, bumper boats and saw they had batting cages.
