A vast promontory overlooking the open sea. Rangers and docent volunteers are on hand during whale-watching months to lead walks on the 1.4-mile bluff trail and answer questions. This is a bracing and beautiful walk at any time of the year, a trek accompanied by pelicans, oyster catchers, and sometimes even deer. Part of the narow trail traces the very edge of the high cliffs; hold hands with your kids at all times.
