Starting at the end of the July each year, you can gather up your kiddo's (we started taking our son when he wan only 3 months old, in a stroller, of course!). There are never any lines or waiting. They have a lot of little carts they let you borrow, they tell you which trees are growing which type (5o plus varieties of peaches) and you can taste what you are picking as you pick which is always fun for the toddlers and older children. There are thousands of trees to pick from, so there is never a shortage of crop, nor are you competing with another "peach picker" to get the biggest and juiciest peach. You aren't elbow to elbow with any other "pickers"....so you can let your children choose their own tree to pick from while keeping them in your site. It's a fun activity for the whole family while you pick and when you take them home because you can can/jar them and use them in yummy recipes! They are much cheaper that in the grocery store. The price per lb varies between $.40-70 per pound.
