My 4 year old son loved this boardwalk. We visit Daytona Beach Shores every year, and my son always asks to visit the boardwalk. They have lots of stores, places to eat, arcades, and activities for kids. They have things like ferris wheels, and a huge bungee jump. This is one of our favorite things about Daytona, but it's a lot of walking so be sure to wear the right shoes and bring a stroller if needed.
By day (at night it turns into a rowdier scene), take the kids to the Boardwalk, with its tents full of video games, rides, a castle-motif band shell, and, on the 1,000-foot-long pier, a gondola Sky Lift. It’s like a fairgrounds on the beach! The beach around the pier has been declared pedestrian-only and is closed to vehicular traffic. From the pier, you can also charter fishing boats.
