Billy Johnson Park and Playground

The Billy Johnson playground is a small fenced-in area off of Fifth Avenue at the eastern edge of Central Park.  Everything in this wonderful playground is made out of natural materials like stone, rock and wood.  The playground also has a 45 foot long granite playground for the fearless with a nice woodsy path leading up to the slide.  There is also a sand pit so bring the sand toys.  The Billy Johnson playground hosts the Central Park Conservancy’s weekday Sandbox Program that starts in July every year.
