"Not a family place"

Not many security staff. Food was a complete waste off money. The food had little to no value. Not many shows. Run down facilities. What was the most fun was, waiting in the parking lot grid locked for 2 hrs because there was no one directing traffic. $36 to get in and no staff to be found. Never will I drag my family to this poorly run down dump again.
The fireworks were ameture at best. Not at all like coopers lake down the street. The other reviews are not actuall review, just sale gimmick to sucker good people to hang out with trashy people. Never saw so many drug addicts and thieves in one place. I don't even know why a vender would waste their time unless your renting lots at the trailer park.

"A great country fair"

We travel to the Big Butler Fair every year.  They make it fun for the whole family!  They have petting zoos, where you can get up-close and personal with the animals and LOTS of amazing fair food!  We go sometimes just to eat the wonderful food!  The kids love the rides, and carnival type shows.  The people are always interesting and the ticket prices are incredibly reasonable for the specialty shows.  We love the farm show and all of the activity goin on around the fairfgrounds.  We would recommend this fun for any family, even with small children!

"Fun with the Family"

Traveling north from Pittsburgh, you’ll begin to see plenty of farm country on these rolling hills. That’s why the annual Big Butler Fair has been a favorite around here for more than 150 years. Livestock exhibitions, rides, concerts, a demolition derby, and grandstand events are the big draws at the fair, always held the week of the
Fourth of July. Admission charged. Free parking.
