The Big Butler Fair is the the largest agricultural fair in Western, PA with over 100,000 people attending each year. Year after year, families from all over Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and West Virginia come to The Big Butler Fair to enjoy 9 July days of food, fireworks, the midway, games, demolition derbies, concerts, monster trucks, truck pulls and the Y108 Freedom Festival.
Fair begins annually around the July 4th holiday.
We travel to the Big Butler Fair every year. They make it fun for the whole family! They have petting zoos, where you can get up-close and personal with the animals and LOTS of amazing fair food! We go sometimes just to eat the wonderful food! The kids love the rides, and carnival type shows. The people are always interesting and the ticket prices are incredibly reasonable for the specialty shows. We love the farm show and all of the activity goin on around the fairfgrounds. We would recommend this fun for any family, even with small children!
Traveling north from Pittsburgh, you’ll begin to see plenty of farm country on these rolling hills. That’s why the annual Big Butler Fair has been a favorite around here for more than 150 years. Livestock exhibitions, rides, concerts, a demolition derby, and grandstand events are the big draws at the fair, always held the week of the
Fourth of July. Admission charged. Free parking.
