Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a beauty salon where little girls are magically transformed into little princesses. Girls (ages 3 and older) can be magically made-up into princesses, and boys (ages 3 and older) can get the Cool Dudes Package for their own terrific transformation!
There are two locations. One in Downtown Disney and one in Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom.
1.) The Coach: This package offers hair & makeup lasting 20+/- minutes for $44.95+tax.
2.) The Crown: This package offers hair, makeup, and nails lasting 30+/- minutes for $49.95+ tax.
3.) The Castle: This package offers hair, makeup, nails, dress, shoes, wand, crown, and photo shoot which you receive 4-4x6's & 1-6x8. The starting price for this package is $179.95+ tax. If purchasing this package with a deluxe dress the cost is 15-30 dollars more.
Appointments are necessary so call the number. If you go to the boutique in the Magic Kingdom an entrance fee to the MK is necessary. The downtown location allows you to go in and out and is less crowded.
Yes, this is PRICEY. However, it is worth it! My child still talks about this experience more than a year later and can't wait to go back. Your child is made to feel like a princess in every which way. A suggestion: if you don't want to spend $200+ for "the works" buy your child(ren) princess dresses from Target and present to them at the Boutique. The staff is fine with this and it cuts the cost considerably.
Just a work of warning - this place is expensive... BUT it is priceless to see your daughter get treated and dressed up like a princess. They call her princess ____ the entire visit. She picks her hair style/makeup/nailpolish/dress/shoes. She has her own ladies in waiting. Wonderful experience!
WEll the title says it all...Our daughter is 9 and she still loves going to get her hair and make up done. They are so nice and professional there. They have so much fun with the kids. The girls, and boys, that walk in there have a smile on their face from the time they get in the chair til way past the time they walk out the door. It is pricey but for a special occasion it is well worth it. Also, if its your childs bday make sure you wear your button, they will do some extra special things.
This was another place that my daughter and I planned to go to while in Florida on our girl's day out. She is of course my little princess and she wanted to look like one for the day so we made a trip to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. She absolutely LOVED it. She looked so cute and really loved how sparkly and glitzy she was after.
All of the staff was extremely nice and friendly to everyone. My daughter loved being a real princess for the day and she has pictures to prove it!
People with daughters will L.O.V.E. this place!!!!! Even people without them can't pass this place up. It is located in the Downtown Disney area inside the Disney store. They take any little girl and "princess" them out. Hair, dress, make-up, the works! It is every little girl's dream come true. The girls in the boutique were so much fun and made the experience just that much better. Of course it is expensive as everything "disney" is, but so worth it!
Our two princesses ages 3 and 6 loved to be pampered at the BBB. We had an 8:30 Am appointment so entered befrore the parks opened. For under 50.00 a piece the girls had their hair and makeup done. This was no easy feat as they each chose hairpieces. Some tips: Bring your own princess attire. Our girls wore theirs all day and got much attention from other parkgoers. Make your reservatoin for Cinderellas Royal table breakfast for after your BBB apoointment. Your daughter will continue to feel like a princess. Lastly for a smaller fee you can get your son in on the action. They did our 6 year old son in a sparkly pirate spike do. He loved it!!!
we scheduled an appointment for this boutique in downtown disney because all the slots were taken at the boutique in the magic kingdom. they offered different packages and my daughter was so excited to go and the experience was magical for her. all the make-up and hair products they use is in sealed packages and you get to keep them all after the appointment so no worries about germs. it's very safe and the make-over took about 40 minutes to complete. it was a great experince, one every little princess should be able to have.
We went to the boutique in February with our last trip to Disney. My daughter was so PSYCHED to have her make-over. We chose to do the complete package with outfit and shoes, hair and make-up, shoes and wand. This also included a photoshoot (in a different location) while she was all made-over. I thought the atmosphere was great and service was wonderful. She loved the photoshoot afterwards and really enjoyed the entire experience. I am one of those Mom's whose great at hair and make-up and definately could have done a better job on her hair. The thing to keep in mind is that you are paying for the experience. I know it was one of the highlights of this trip for my daughter and that makes it worth it.
You do not need to use your pass to go to the Downtown Disney Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique...a BONUS! Nor do you have to deal with the massive crowds at the other boutique locations...BIG BONUS!
The last time we took our Daughter to Disney, it was her birthday, and her cousin was also with us along with other family members.
For her birthday we decided to do something memorable for the girls. They don't see each other often due to us living up in Massachusetts and they live in the FL Panhandle. It was wonderful for both the girls, and the adults! To see their delight when the "Fairy Godmothers in Training" were working on them was priceless! The girls were 5 and 6 at the time. Their eyes both went huge when the big "reveals" were made.
They got their hair (and they get to choose a style and the hair "extensions" that are like a ponytail holder) done, nails, make-up and special "fairy dusting" (glitter). The girls were able to keep their hair perfect, even after swimming and SLEEPING! This year is our last year to go and this is what the girls want to do for their special time! They do not want to swim with the Dolphins!
A few money, and timesaving tips I highly recommend:
Bring your Princess dresses/crowns that you may already have at home and pack them in your luggage for this special day! You can save some cash and skip the "Castle Package" $189.95 and go with the "Crown" $54.95 or the "Coach" $49.95 (add tax to prices) package.
Call in advance to make your appointment! We did, and they were ready for us at the exact time we had set up.
Send the boys outside to go see the Lego creations!
Get all your shopping done here, instead of the parks (unless you go to the “souvenir” shops) and bring all that “stuff” with you when you do visit the parks! You won’t hear as much “Can I have” or “I want this” as you normally would! We’ve done it both ways!
